VOLUNTEERS MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

Just a few hours a week at the library can help enrich your neighbors and your community.
Here are just a few of the ways you can help:
  • Assist with children's programs
  • Annual Summer Reading Program reading report volunteer
  • Help adults or children increase their literacy skills
  • Prepare new books for circulation
  • Repair older books
  • Help computer users at Internet stations
  • Shelve books
  • Choose and deliver books to homebound library users
  • Friends of OPL booksales and sorting
  • Have a strong computer skill? Teach a class!

We have volunteer opportunities at all of our locations. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator Sandy Phillips at (760) 435-5683.
