PASS THAT TEST WITH LEARNING EXPRESS
 Follow the Research from Home link and you’ll find that Learning Express Library has practice exams and exercises to help you get a GED, pass a career or licensing exam, brush up on your math or writing skills, or get college credit. Other tests include: ASVAB for military service, TOEFL for English learners, practice tests for law enforcement and other government jobs, real estate, nursing/health, K-12 skills and more.

TEENS! TRANSFORM YOURSELF – READ! JUNE 21 - AUGUST 9
 Metamorphosis is the word for the summer! Teens in grades 6-12 can read for prizes, and take part in free programs like crafts, tips for traveling on a shoe-string budget, a magic show, a rock concert, an afternoon at Hogwart's, and more.
Just by reading 12 books you'll get a reading award, and your name will be entered into a drawing for an awesome grand prize!
Plus, you will be making a difference in the community. For every book read and reviewed, a donation of $1 will be made to Casa de Amparo, a local organization dedicated to helping victims of child abuse and their families.

KIDS! CATCH THE READING BUG! JUNE 14 - AUGUST 9
 Calling all kids PreSchool through 6th grade: swarm over to the Oceanside Public Library and register for the Catch the Reading Bug club this summer. eBOOKS FOR eKIDS: TUMBLEBOOK LIBRARY
Oceanside Public Library has just added a terrific new resource for children who love picture books. Check out the TumbleBook Library where you can find animated, talking picture books, puzzles, and educational games. It's also a great resource for grownups who care about children and want to help them learn and grow - it includes book descriptions, vocabulary help, quizzes for after reading, reviews of books, and author/illustrator information. Enjoy the Library's latest new service: FREE access to downloadable audiobooks! Once you "check out" the audiobook (download the file), you can listen to your favorites through your personal desktop, laptop or palm computer with Windows Media Player, or transfer the book to an MP3 player* to listen to during that long commute, maybe even while you exercise or work around the house.
